“Missions in Motion” ~ Prepare your heart and body. There will be a 100-mile bike-a-thon and 10- mile walk-a-thon on Monday, October 4, 2010, to kick off the 2010 Missions Week. We urge everyone to participate. Pick up your sponsor form in the lobby, and begin recruiting sponsors for each mile. If you would like to ride or walk, and/or volunteer, please contact the office at (301) 899-5940.
Ladies’ Tea ~ If you are interested in hosting a table for the Ladies’ Tea, please pick up your registration form at the information booth and return it to Erika Henry. Hostess training is required.
This event will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. Cost: $10. Sign-up as soon as possible as space is limited.

Ladies’ Bible Study will resume on Wednesday, September 8, 2010. Please Note: Meeting time will be 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. in the fellowship hall.
Annual Health Fair ~ The Women’s and Men’s Ministries of Evangel Assembly will sponsor the 6th Annual Community Health Fair on September 11, 2010, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This year’s theme is Healthy People = Healthy Communities. This free event is open to friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors.
Join the Evangel Senior’s Ministry for the “Senior’s Health Walk.” Start the day off at 7:45 a.m. with prayer and then a brisk walk on the Evangel Assembly grounds beginning at 8:00 a.m.; the walk will end at 9:00 a.m. To register for the “Senior’s Health Walk,” contact Ms. Pat Willis at patti_c_1@yahoo.com.

EVANGEL EMPOWERMENT SCHOOL OF THEOLOGY ~ Applications are still being accepted for the 2010 Fall Semester. Registration deadline is September 7, 2010. If you are not interested in earning college credit but interested in learning more about the Word of God, you may attend these classes free of charge.
