Reverend St. Clair Mitchell, Senior Pastor
Reverend St. Clair Mitchell was born and reared in the British West Indies. While still a teenager, he accepted the Lord and was subsequently called to the Ministry.
Through a miracle of God’s provision, he received a scholarship to study in the United States and later returned to his Island Nation of Dominica.
In Dominica, he served in several capacities among which were Pastor and District Superintendent.
In 1991, the Mitchell family moved to the United States where Reverend Mitchell served as the Executive Director of S.T.E.P. Ministries Richmond (Strategies To Elevate People). He most recently served as the Director of Church Development/Home Missions for the Potomac District of the Assemblies of God. Since 2003, he has been the Senior Pastor of Evangel Assembly in Temple Hills, MD. Reverend Mitchell also serves as the President of Teen Challenge (Maryland), the Founder and President of S.T.E.P. (Strategies To Empower People) Dominica, and he currently presides over the Evangel Ministerial Network.
